My brother and I started to brew beer about a year ago. I must say, we've been pretty successful in terms of learning quickly and producing some really nice ales. We put together a Belgian Dubbel from a recipe I found over the weekend which called the beer a"ChimHEY" (get it). Anyway, never made a Belgian before, let alone a beer that called for two pounds of brown sugar! Can't wait to sip on this.
This boil produced an interesting color to emerge in the wert.
